1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy applies to the MyGfSim website, account portal and relationship simulator. “MyGfSim,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of this service.

2. Data we collect

Account and profile data

• Username, password credentials in hashed form and account authentication records.
• Display name, date of birth, pronouns and optional profile avatar.
• Email address and verification status when email features are enabled.

Simulation and conversation data

• Messages you send and AI-generated responses.
• Your selected character, the name and birth date assigned to that fictional character.
• Relationship state, events, choices, scenes, interaction history, gifts, cooldowns and retry records.
• Structured memories, shared moments and open conversation threads produced from your interactions.
• Scrapbook and simulator appearance preferences.

Supporter and community data

• Supporter tier, entitlement status, provider purchase reference and a one-way license fingerprint.
• Optional directory visibility, Founder Lounge posts, replies and moderation records.
• We do not need to store full payment-card details; payment providers process those details under their own policies.

Technical data

• Session and security cookies, request timestamps, IP-derived rate-limit identifiers, error records and basic device/browser information available in web requests.
• Timezone reported by the browser to provide local time and simulated environment behavior.

3. How and why we use data

We process data to create and secure your account, deliver the simulation, preserve continuity, respond to your requests, prevent duplicate or abusive operations, administer supporter benefits, moderate optional community areas and diagnose failures.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these activities may rely on performance of our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where specifically requested. You may withdraw consent-based processing without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. AI and automated processing

Your recent conversation, selected memories, character identity and bounded simulation context may be assembled into prompts used to generate a response or understand the meaning of a turn. Depending on deployment, prompts may be processed by a locally operated model or a configured inference provider.

Automated systems may classify conversational acts and propose memory candidates. Deterministic rules validate and limit resulting state changes. These processes affect only the fictional simulation, its presentation and generated replies; they are not used to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you. AI output can still be inaccurate or inappropriate, so do not provide information you are not comfortable storing or processing.

5. Cookies and local storage

MyGfSim uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication, session continuity and cross-site request forgery protection. The simulator may also use browser local storage for presentation preferences such as audio state, theme settings or private layout drafts. These technologies are required for requested functionality and are not described as advertising trackers.

If optional analytics, advertising or non-essential tracking is introduced later, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before those tools are enabled.

6. When data may be shared

Data may be provided only as needed to vendors that operate the service, such as hosting, inference, email, security and payment providers; to professional advisers under confidentiality; during a legitimate business transfer; or where disclosure is required to comply with law, protect users or defend legal rights.

Optional Founder Lounge posts and directory entries are visible according to the privacy controls shown when you publish them. Private conversations and memories are not intended to be public community content.

7. Retention and deletion

Account and simulation data is retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Security, transaction or legal records may be retained longer where required by law or needed to resolve disputes. Backup copies may persist for a limited restoration cycle before being overwritten.

You can permanently delete your account from Account settings by entering the required confirmation. This removes your profile, girlfriend-specific simulation, chats, events, plans, leases, memories, supporter preferences and avatar from the active system. Some minimal purchase or legal records may need to be retained where law requires it.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to or erase personal data, and to complain to a data-protection authority. You can edit profile data and delete the account in the application. For requests that cannot be completed through those controls, use the contact information below.

9. Security and international processing

We use access controls, password hashing, authenticated private-asset routes and bounded data validation intended to protect the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials private and notify the operator if you believe your account has been compromised.

Service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal transfer safeguards should be used.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the product, providers or law changes. Material changes should be announced in the service and the effective date updated.
